Harvest Teams Raising Efficiency With Hi-Crop
Harvest teams have praised the efficiency and productivity that they can achieve when harvesting the Spring Green variety Hi-Crop. Due to the uniformity of the hybrid, heads are consistent in size and shape meaning that almost every head can be harvested. It is the shape of those heads however which is the real winner. Unlike many Spring Green varieties, Hi-Crop is not derived from hearting cabbages like ball head or pointed cabbage. As such, it will never form a heart. This characteristic is complimented by the 'V-Shape' of the head, which the harvest crew can easily take two in a hand and place in a retail bag in one smooth movement.
