A Continuously Updated Range
The International Bremia Evaluation Board for Europe (IBEB-EU), has today denominated a new race of Bremia lactucae (Bl), Bl: 41EU. This new race was discovered repeatedly in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
Our breeding partner for lettuce, Gautier Semences, have a dedicated team of specialists who are highly focused on anticipating the developments of disease. The pathology and breeding departments work tirelessly to develop varieties that will meet the needs of growers.
Our commercial portfolio contains a wide range of lettuce varieties that are resistant to Bl: 29-41EU, for both indoor and open field production. In addition to the focus on breeding varieties that are resistant to Bremia lactucae, the team at Gautier Semences has focused on adding resistance to Fusarium (Fol: 1 and Fol: 4) which remains a major concern for many growers.
Details on our range of our varieties with resistance to Bl: 29-41 and Fol: 1, Fol: 4 can be found here.
Please do get in touch if you would like to know any more information about these varieties.
